Altering Differences

Anindo Chatterjee

The biggest adjustment playing duets with Anindo Chatterjee and Eliot Zigmund was having overall more steady tempos for longer periods of time as opposed to more frequent subtle tempo attenuations slower and faster with solo piano improvisation, the differences altering my sense of both form and expression. Anindo and Eliot adjusted extremely well when I wished to speed up or slow down the tempo.
