When Listening

Reclining while listening is sometimes best

Above all, when listening to my music, don't run away if it sounds different from what you expect at first. Allow some time for acclimating to a new musical language in every respect. This includes how the music sounds and how it progresses through time. If you do so it will be well worth your time. Music you already know is not going away. What I'm offering is a new evolutionary manifestation of Western classical, jazz, Indian classical, and computer-electronic music at once.

Listening with a friend while keeping cool is another way to go

Especially in America, there is precedent for being especially mindful of those who are very different and very uncommon in the realm of composition. Sometimes those outside of music are more open to true innovation, including being oblivious to politics and convention.

"Thank you for the notes and the music, with its shimmering version of the music of the spheres."

"Your intriguing set of instruments suggests that you are doing something quite new in American music."
