Apples are believed to have originated in present-day Kazakhstan. Tomatoes, a mainstay of Italian cuisine, are from Mexico. Potatoes, central to the Indian diet, are from Peru. If we are what we eat, all this, and more similar facts, seems to argue that the world is truly One.
